Worried by Tunisia's uninspiring performance at the on-going Orange Africa Nations Championship in Kigali, Completesports can exclusively report that the Carthage Eagles main side's Polish coach Henri Kasperczak has been making frantic calls to the team’s Lemigo Hotels base ahead of Friday's African Nations Championship clash with Nigeria.
In one of Completesportsnigeria visits to Tunisia’s base, it was learnt that Kasperczak has been helping the team with valuable advice which includes tactics on how to stop Nigeria on Friday.
Carthage Eagles’ Media officer, Ward Zouhaier, revealed exclusively to Complete Sports that Kaspersack often calls to encourage the team after their 2-2 draw with Guinea on Monday.
Zouhaeir added that Kasperzack has been in close touch with coach Hatem Misaoui on the way forward for the team and that his words of encouragement will go a long way to inspire the team against Nigeria on Friday.
“ Yes Henri has been calling us,’’ Zouhaeir told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“He talked to us after the Guinea game and we are ready to play Nigeria.”
Kasperczak opted out of CHAN to enable him to recuperate after undergoing a successful operation early this month.
Tunisia need a win against Nigeria to boost their chances of making it to the second round of the competition while a win for Nigeria would guarantee then a place in the knockout stages with a game in hand.
