Reading of England midfielder, Hope Akpan has announced that he has been cleared to resume competitive football three months after pulling his shoulder in the Super Eagles 2-0 away win over Congo Brazzaville in Pointe Noire.
The 23 year old who got the news Wednesday morning however added that he is ready for his return.
“Sometimes, you’ve just got to let it out. Received the all clear this morning. Can’t wait to get back on the pitch. Glory to the most high.” he wrote on his instagram wall.
It remains to be seen if the former Everton player will be available for Royals boss Nigel Adkins with their home clash against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
