Huddersfield duo Jonas Lossl and Mathias ‘Zanka’ Jorgensen have been named in Denmark’s Nations League squad. The Huddersfield stars were expected to play in Wednesday’s friendly with Slovakia but a contract dispute with the Danish Football Association led to the entire squad going on strike.
Denmark were forced to call on some futsal players for the meeting with Slovakia but they will be at full strength for the Nations League clash with Wales on Sunday.
The Danish governing body and players association say no further comment will be made on the issue prior to Sunday’s outing.
It is good news though for Lossl and Jorgensen who travelled away from West Yorkshire to link up with their international team-mates earlier this week.
