Group E rivals Hungary have finally booked into the same Quality Hotel in New Plymouth with the Flying Eagles on Thursday afternoon.
The Europeans are coached by a German and so will be expected to be a fit and a very hard working team.
An official disclosed they have been in New Zealand for about five days.
They massacred another World Cup finalists Fiji 7-0 in a test game under very harsh weather conditions – cold and rain showers – and on a slippery pitch.
They clash with Nigeria on June 7 at the Stadium Taranaki. It will be the first meeting between the two teams in this competition.
Hungary’s best showing at the World Cup was achieved on African soil when they placed third in Egypt in 2009.
They barely qualified for New Zealand 2015 courtesy of a 2-1 win over Israel in a European U19 Championship, which they hosted. They lost their first two matches (3-1 to Austria, 6-1 to Portugal).
