Nigerian internationals, Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe will be looking to extend West Bromwich Albion’s unbeaten run to three when they travel to the Old Trafford to take on Manchester United. Yours truly exclusively learnt that prior to today’s tie, Ideye and Anichebe were reportedly spotted in various cutlerries shops all over England looking for spoons long enough to dine with the Devils.
It has been a tale of contrasting fortunes for the two clubs of recent with West Brom experiencing a resurgence which has seen them pick 4 points in their last 2 games while United on the other hand suffered a relapse of form losing their last 2 games. And while the Devils will be desperate to return to winning ways in front of their home fans, the Baggies will be hoping their current form will be good enough to extend the misery of their host.
A massive 28 points currently separates the two sides with United sitting 4th on the league table with 65 points while West Brom are 13th on the log with 37 points. The host are looking to improve their status in the top 4 race while the visitors are looking climb further away from the drop zone with just 4 rounds of matches to go before the close of the season.
Ideye and Anichebe respectively have 4 and 2 goals to their credits for the travelling Baggies and it will be a massive morale boosters for players and their club alike if they can get any kind of points from this tie.
