Ideye Dedicates 2018 Rolls Royce To God

Nigerian striker Brown Ideye has dedicated his newly acquired 2018 Rolls Royce luxury car to God, who has been merciful to him all through the years.

The former Ocean Boys forward, who last week sent social media into frenzy when he purchased the new Rolls Royce to celebrate his 30th birthday, said that it was God who has has seen him through thick and thin to the point where he is now living the life of royalty.

”It is God that has been my rock and I dedicate the new Rolls Royce to Him,” Ideye told the media in Lagos.

The former West Brom forward, who started his professional football career with Nigerian side Bayelsa United in 2006, posted images of the new automobile on his Instagram page.

Already in possession of one 2017 Rolls Royce car, Ideye, who currently stars for Chinese Super League side, Tianjin Teda, has seen his rating soar in the Asian country, given his contributions to the club.

Known for his tireless contribution on the field of play, Ideye’s birthday celebration was marked with pomp and panache, after his acquisition of the Rolls Royce, at a very princely amount of money.

Not known to hold back on the good things of life, Ideye, who first moved to Europe in 2008, signing for Swiss Super League side, Neuchâtel Xamax, has seen his career rise, owing to the tenacity, hard work and never-say-die attitude.

In fact, at a time that fellow Chinese Super League star Odion Ighalo has hit top form, scoring six goals in three matches for Nigeria in the ongoing 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign after being on a barren run for more than two years, Ideye will hope to return to the Super Eagles in the near future.

I am so sorry, he didn’t take the path to come back to SE.

  • Time and chance happen to all men, the bible says.
Ideye was robbed of his time to shine at Brazil 2014 by Keshi (RIP).
Just like Ayegbeni was robbed at his prime by Onigbinde, in South Korea 2002.

The Black man has an inherent problem.
    We promote mediocrity over merit.
We celebrate idiocy, and we elavate nonentity above integrity and wisdom.

Look at prof. Osibanjo behind a certificateless buhari, and Oeter Obi behind Atiku, then uou will agree we have a problem as a people.

And by the way buying a private jet or any car for that matter with an amount that can but you 5-10% share if Delta airlines, Arsenal FC, Man U, etc still shows an average Africa don’t reason well enough.

Ask Shina peters who built a #20M ,,(20 million maira) house and Elumelu who started WEMA Bank with #20M. 20 years ago how far?

God help us the Black race.

POC bro….Onigbinde dint not deny aiyegbeni as place in the world cup. Yakubu was elbowed in the eye during a league match and had to go for a surgery which effectively ruled him out of the 2002 World Cup…!

Well if that makes him happy who are my to criticise him.End of the day it’s his money and his right to spend as he wishes.
However,we are all different but I would choose the part to humility.I believe humility is the key to success in any chosen career,it’s easy to lose focus especially when you are a sportsman.Women, ales, fags and vain addictions can be detrimental.
However I wish Ideye well and hope he bounce back to revive a once glorious career.
    God bless Nigeria!

  • @Greenturf,
    My brother it’s his money.
He can spend it any how he wishes.
But i was just lamenting the bane of of the black man.

Again, time and chance happen to all men, his time at the SE is over unfortunately, where is Osaze.Emenike, Sunday Mba etc. They were all mates. Their time is gone.
    That is life.
    We can change it.
The maximum one can play at the top level is 16 years, most play between 8 and 12 years at the top level.

What is the difference between the 2017 model (which he already had) and the 2018 model he just bought? The true winners are the vehicle manufacturers, not Mr. Ideye.

Congrats to him anyway, He is spending his cash the way it pleases him.

@CJ i totally concur with you, just that I don’t Nigerians can lick anyone’s ass just for money. Osinbanjo and all those politicians i don’t regard them. Bless.

  • Random thoughts just for reflection: difference between asset and liability. Counting one’s blessings. Stepping up to help the needy ??Pappilo and hole-in-the-heart. Lasting legacy Vs youthful exuberance. Unemployed youth! Come learn how to fish here! It’s really our business. Go and sit down. I crocked my ankle on that field. Oh! Yes we’re getting wiser by the day. Those Bafana Bafana fans should stop rejoicing. Uzoho will become a man!
