Super Eagles striker, Brown Ideye was on cloud nine on Friday after sealing his dream move to the EPL, joining West Brom for the club’s record transfer fee believed to be in the neighbourhood of £10m, reports Completesportsnigeria.com
The former Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine forward took to his Twitter handle on Friday to thank God for his latest blessing . He would also express his gratitude to everyone whose contributions acted in tandem to land him his dream job.
Ideye writes inter alia in his Twitter handle, @OfficialIdeye: “Done deal, officially a West Bromwich player. Thank you God.”
He continues: “Dream come true … EPL. Would like to thank my family and my Agents @hootancan and Ali Barat for a job well done. Big thanks to everyone who made this possible.”
Then an excited Ideye tells West Brom fans to motivate him with his choice pet name.
“To all the WBA fans, you can call me BOBBY!!!. So excited to be joining the Baggies!,” happy Bobby who has secured shirt number 9 ahead of the new EPL season ejaculates.
Brown Ideye becomes fifth Nigerian to have graced West Bromwich Albion, following Ifeanyi Udeze, Kanu Nwankwo, Osaze Odemwingie and currently, Victor Anichebe ‘s stints at The Hawthorns.
