Tianjin TEDA's Nigerian striker Brown Ideye is ready to make his debut on Friday when his side take on Jiangsu Suning, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
But he was quick to add that his coach Jaime Pacheo will make the final decision ahead of the game.
The Super Eagles striker only joined on deadline day last week and he is already keen to get involved for Tianjin TEDA who lost their opening Chinese Super League game to Shandong Luneng 2-0 last weekend.
Ideye who trained with the rest of the squad earlier on Thursday told sports.enorth.com.cn that the club must bounce back from their matchday 1 defeat.
"The next game is very important to us and I hope we bring back three points," Ideye told sports.enorth.com.cn.
"Mbaye Diagne and I are roommates, the relationship is very good, but who gets the chance to play on Friday depends on the coach's arrangements."
Ideye also praised club mate and compatriot Mikel Obi for helping him settle in.
He said: "From the first day I came here, Mikel has constantly helped me settle in.
"We are national teammates and there's a good understanding between us, so we play together without any problems."
