Nigeria striker Brown Ideye was on target for Olympiakos in their 3-1 home win against Asteras Tripolis in Sunday's Greek league clash.
Ideye netted in the 86th minute to make it 3-0 for Olympiakos. Konstantinos Fortounis had earlier put the home side 2-0 up after scoring in the 73rd and 80th minute.
The goal was Ideye's fifth in 10 league appearances.
In the English Premier League, Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi was an unused substitute for Chelsea who held Tottenham Hotspurs to a 0-0 draw at White Hart Lane.
At the Boleyn Ground, Victor Moses starred for West Ham in their 1-1 draw against West Brom.
Mauro Zarate gave West Ham the lead from a well taken free-kick. But an own-goal by Winston Reid made sure both teams shared the spoils.
Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa featured for 90 minutes for CSKA who held Anzhi to a 1-1 draw in a Russian league match.
Haruna Lukman was overlooked for selection by his coach as he was an unused substitute.
In the French Ligue 1, Super Eagles left-back Elderson Echiejile made an appearance for AS Monaco who played a 3-3 draw against Marseille.
Scottish champions Celtic defeated Inverness 3-1 but Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose could only make the substitute bench.
In Portugal, Nigerian midfielder Nwankwo Obiora made an appearance for Academica against Arouca which ended 1-1.
Obiora was to later come off for Leandro Silva in the 32nd minute.
In the Turkish Super League Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo was in action for 90 minutes in Kasimpasa's 2-2 home draw with Galatasaray.
Still in Turkey, Nigerian duo of Gbenga Arokoyo and John Chibuike were sent off for Gaziantepspor who played 2-2 away to Genclerbirligi.
And in Austria, Olanrewaju Kayode played for 90 minutes but suffered 4-2 defeat with his team Austria Wien against Ried.
