Ifeanyiubah Plots To Buy Israeli Or Spanish Club

Completesportsnigeria.com has gathered that the Proprietor of NPFL side FC Ifeanyiubah,  Dr Patrick Ifeanyiubah, is desirous of owning a football club in Europe and is currently discussing with Spanish and Israeli sides.

Onyia spoke on a sports show of Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS TV) Onitsha, Sports In The Mix, to mark the one year anniversary of the state football association headed by Dr. Ifeanyiubah.
"Dr Patrick Ifeanyiubah wants to buy a club in Spain or Israel," informs Emeka Onyia, the Special Assistant on media to the Capital Oil and Gas CEO during the Thursday's ABS TV sports show monitored by Completesportsnigeria.com.
"Right now, the identities of the clubs are yet to be made open, but when the deal gets through, it will serve as avenue for young players coming through the Anambra State FA's 'one family, one footballer' program.
"Dr Ifeanyiubah has passion for the game, moreso its multiplier effect on the economy since he strongly believes that football drives the economy."
Onyia explained further: "For instance, if a footballer from a family makes it to Europe, he ultimately brings the money home to invest or build house which in turn boosts the business of the building material dealers, traders and others who in one way or the other sell their wares, offer their services in the course of building the house."
If the deal eventually comes through, Ifeanyiubah would have become the second Nigerian to own a football club in both Nigeria and Europe.
Kunle Soname, proprietor of NPFL side, Remo Stars, is the owner of Portuguese second division side, Fairense FC.
It would be recalled that Dangote Group boss, Alhaji Aliko Dangote has been severally been linked with a move to buy over English Premier League side, Arsenal.
