—Ajayi Scores Again In Tunisia, Balogun Starts In Mainz Win

Super Eagles forward Sylvester Igboun scored his third goal of the season for FC UFA in the 2-1 win over Amkar Perm who paraded Izunna Uzochukwu and Fegor Ogude for the entire duration of the encounter.
Igboun’s 47th minute opener was cancelled out by Aleksandr Salugin 20 minutes later before Vyacheslav Krotov sealed the win with two minutes left to play. It was Igboun’s 14th start of the season for UFA while Uzochukwu and Ogude have played nine and 13 games respectively.
At the King Power Stadium on Saturday, Odion Ighalo was kept from scoring in Watford’s 2-1 loss to Leicester City.
Also at the Boleyn Ground, Victor Moses played all 90 minutes as West Ham bounced back from the 2-0 defeat last weekend to Watford to draw Everton 1-1.
At the Britannia stadium, the duo of Osaze Odemwingie and Mikel Obi did not feature for their respective teams. Chelsea lost by a lone goal.
In the Championship, Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme replaced Emiliano Martinez in the 57th minute in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ goalless draw at home to Burnley at the Molineaux stadium.
It was his fifth appearance for the Wolves this season. Prior to this game, Ikeme last featured for Wolves two months ago when they lost 3-0 to Middlesbrough in September.
In Africa, Junior Ajayi scored his fourth goal of the season for CS Sfaxien in the 3-1 home win over Etoile Metlaoui on Saturday.
The 19-year-old doubled his side’s lead in the 14th minute after Karim Aouadhi had given the hosts a fourth minute lead.
In Germany, Leon Balogun played all 90 minutes in his eighth Bundesliga game of the season for Mainz who defeated Wolfsburg 2-0 at the Coface Arena.
At the Generali Arena in Austria, Kayode Olanrewaju fired blanks in Austria Wien’s 1-1 draw at home to Red Bull Salzburg.
Kayode has scored six times this term for the league leaders.
In Turkey, Godfrey Oboabona featured for the entire duration as Rizespor edged Galatasaray 4-3 in Saturday’s clash.
