By Adeboye Amosu: Nigerian midfielder Nosa Igiebor has joined Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta from Major League Soccer League outfit Vancouver Whitecaps, Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.
Anorthosis announced Igiebor’s arrival on their website on Friday.
“Famagusta Anorthosis welcomes Nosa Igiebor and we wish him every success at our club,” reads the statement on the club’s official website.
He linked up with Anorthosis at a time when the only Nigerian at the club, Shehu Abdullahi, is close to joining Turkish outfit, Bursaspor.
The 27-year-old who has been capped 15 times by Nigeria was part of the the Super Eagles squad that won the African Nations Cup title in 2013 in South Africa.
