Iheanacho Happy To End Goal Drought In Leicester Win Vs Fleetwood

By Johnny Edward: Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho,h is delighted to be back on the score sheet for Leicester City after going over two months without a goal for The Foxes Completesportsnigeria.com (CSN) reports.

Iheanacho scored twice for Leicester City who beat League One side, Fleetwood 2-0 in Tuesday to book their place in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup where they will face Peterborough away.

The Nigeria international also became the first player in English football to score a goal with the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) intervention.

Iheanacho who is still without an English Premier League goal in over a year, last scored in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Leeds in the English Football League Cup on Tuesday 24th October, 2017.

The 21 year old who took his goal tally to three in 13 games in all competitions with the brace also praised his teammates for their efforts.
