Manchester City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho made the Capital One Cup (League Cup) Team of the Round after his impressive display against Crystal Palace in the fifth round of the competition.
Iheanacho was handed his first senior competitive start by Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, and he didn’t disappoint.
The Nigerian assisted goals for Kevin De Bruyne and Manu Garcia in their 5-1 rout of Crystal Palace, and also tucked one of his own away in the second half.
The 19-year-old is joined by Sheffield Wednesday’s Lucas Joao and Stoke City's Jonathan Walters in attack.
Liverpool right-back Nathaniel Clyne also made the team alongside Sebastien Bassong ,Daniel Ayala, Maya Yoshida in defence while Ross Wallace, Barry Bannan, Joao Carlos Teixeira are the midfield trio.
Stoke City’s Jack Butland was named in goal for his exceptional performance against Chelsea, pulling off a string of fine saves against the likes of Diego Costa, Oscar, Kurt Zouma and Kenedy, before making the decisive penalty shoot-out save from Eden Hazard.
