Kelechi Iheanacho says Manchester City must repeat the same performance they had in their 1-1 home draw against Liverpool ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash at the Emirates with Arsenal.
City are currently third in the Premier League table on 57 points with Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal in hot pursuit in the race for the top four and Champions League football.
“We are going to go to the Emirates and fight,” Iheanacho told Manchester City's official website.
“We need a win there. It’s a good team, so we need to fight hard to get three points.
“We are in a good situation. We played well against Liverpool and showed good character.
“We defended well, we attacked well, but unfortunately we couldn’t win.
“We are in a good position in the Premier League, we keep fighting and focus on the next games.”
Commenting on his limited playing time this season, Iheanacho says he is loving being at City and feels he is constantly improving by playing alongside a squad of top-class players.
“I’m very happy and very grateful to be in this team,” he said. “I keep working hard every day and when I get my chance I have to prove to everyone I need to be in the squad.
>“It’s a great squad with great players. Everyone is working really hard, so everyone should be happy being in this team.
“It’s a great team. The supporters give us everything so We need to keep fighting for the team and the fans.
“I am improving every day. I keep learning and improving and that will help me in the future.
