Super Eagles striker Ikechukwu Uche says he is delighted to have netted his 100th goal in Spain.
Uche fired a brace Sunday night in Villarreal’s 2-0 win over Ramon Azeez’s Almeria and the ex-Real Zaragoza forward through his Twitter page celebrated the feat.
“Great game last (Sunday) night…very proud to have scored my 100th goal in Spain.Just want to thank everyone for the support,” Uche tweeted.
He had earlier told his club’s official website he would love to score more.
‘Scoring a 100 goals is not a mean feat but I hope to score,”he said.
The brace he scored on Sunday was his third for Villareal since he joined at the start of last season. He scored the first of his braces in January in the 5-1 demolition of Real Sociedad at El Madrigal.He now has three goals to his crdit this season to make him the club’s top scorer so far this term.

for Racing de Ferrol whom he played for between 2002 and 2003.He switched to Recreativo de Huelva hwere he spent four years and enjoyed his most successful spell in front of goals with 50 goals.He scored 13 times between 2007 and 2009 when he moved to Getafe and hit the back of the net just once for Real Zaragoza between 2009 and 2011 and three for Granada whom he joined on laon from Villareal.He later returned to Villareal and has now scored 31 goals.
