Nigeria striker Ikechukwu Uche has revealed that he is feeling much better after sustaining a knock in Thursday’s Europa League clash away to Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia Park.
The 30 year old forward who was making his return after missing three games had only been on the pitch for 26 seconds before his first touch slotted past Yann Sommer, after a nice assist by the also recently introduced Manu Trigueros.
Unfortunately for the former Getafe striker, he picked up an injury in the process of scoring the goal, which would see him leave the pitch immediately after notching the equaliser.
“I’m feeling much better now than (Thursday) yesterday,” he wrote on his instagram wall.
“Thanks guys.. I will be alright soon. Greetings to all ,” Ike Uche concluded.
If declared fit for this weekend’s clash, Uche may feature against Rayo Vallencano.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles stand in skipper, Vincent Enyeama has wished him a speedy recovery. He posted: “God heal and restore you.get well soon.”
