–As Villarreal travel to tackle Getafe after Espanyol loss
Super Eagles striker, Ikechukwu Uche will be looking to help Villareal return to winning ways in the Spanish La Liga as they embark on the road trip to Getafe tomorrow.
Uche could only watch for the bench as Villarreal suffered a shock 0-3 home defeat on Thursday when they played host to Espanyol at the Camp El Madrigal. The loss meant Villareal has gone five games without a single win.
Ahead tomorrow’s clash, 15 points currently separate Villareal and Getafe with today’s visitors currently 6th on the log with 50 points while the host are sitted in the 13th position with 35 points.
Uche’s goalscoring form seem to have suffered a dip in recent times with the skillful striker yet to score for his club in his last ten games for Villareal. He however, has 5 goals to his credit after 21 games and could as well increase his goals tally if coach Marcelino gives him the nod to feature in this tie.
