By Kayode Ogundare in Uyo:
Wolverhampton Wanderers of England goalkeeper Carl Ikeme finally arrived at the Le Meridian Hotel, Uyo camp of the Super Eagles on Thursday afternoon into the waiting hands of his ecstatic teammates.
Ikeme who stayed back in England to treat a niggling injury came in just in time to join the rest of the squad for evening training at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
His arrival brings to 21 the number of players in camp with Kingsley Madu still expected.
Ikeme has become the Super Eagles' first choice keeper following the retirement of Vincent Enyeama.
The Wolves star could however sit out Saturday's dead rubber Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania due to his late arrival.
