Ikeme Helps Wolves Stun Aluko’s Fulham, Egbuchulam Debuts In Sweden

Super Eagles winger Victor Moses shrugged off his injury complaints to feature for Chelsea who earned a hard fought 2-1 Premier League win away to Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Moses who is expected in the Super Eagles camp ahead of this week’s international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso was replaced by Cesc Fabregas in 70th minute of the nervy win.

The 26-year-old Nigerian has made 26 appearances for the Blues this term.

At the Hawthorns, Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi came on for Alexis Sanchez in the 77th minute as Arsenal lost 3-1 away to West Brom in an EPL clash. It was Iwobi’s 23rd game of the EPL campaign.

At the Olympic Stadium in London, Wilfred Ndidi posted another brilliant performance in Leicester City’s 3-2 win away to West Ham. It was his eighth appearance in the EPL since arriving in Januari. His compatriot Ahmed Musa made a return to action after three weeks out, replacing Shinji Okazaki in the 76th. Musa has made 19 league appearances this term.

In the Championship, Super Eagles first choice Carl Ikeme made his 30th appearance for Wolverhampton Wanderers who defeated Fulham 3-1. Nigerian forward Sone Aluko played for 90 minutes for Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Ikeme conceded his 34th goal of the season in the game but has kept nine clean sheets this season.

For Aluko it was his 37th Championship appearance for the Whites. He has scored six goals.

In the German Bundesliga 2, Noah Sarenren Bazee came on in the 67th minute of Hannover 96 0-0 draw away to St Pauli.

In Sweden, Chisom Egbuchulam made his debut for BK Hacken, coming on as an 86th minute substitute in Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Oestersunds. The Enugu Rangers loanee replaced Kari Arkivuo.

In Turkey, Ogenyi Onazi played for 70 minutes in Trabzonspor’s 2-0 win over Galatasary.

Also, the pair of Emem Eduok and Kenneth Otigba in Kasimpasa’s 3-2 win over Osmanlispor.
