Enugu Rangers Technical Adviser, Imama Amapakabo says the Enugu State side can be proud of their performance despite failing to win the Super-Four title, reports Completesportsnigeria.
The Flying Antelopes were denied the opportunity of winning the title after they were held to a 1-1 draw in their match-day three game by oriental rivals, FC IfeanyiUbah at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium Enugu on Sunday.
Rivers United who beat Wikki Tourists 1-0 earlier in the day won the competition.
"This is like a pre-season competition for us and I'm satisfied with our performance in the three games we played here," Imama told Completesportsnigeria.com
"We played against three top quality oppositions and we can be proud our performance against them.
" I know the fans are disappointed that we didn't win, but they can expect a better performance from us when the new season kicks off.
"We have gained a lot from this competition as it has helped us prepare adequately for the new season.
