Injured Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona missed a second training in Campinas on Wednesday despite coach Stephen Keshi’s assurances the player could be fit in time for the clash against Bosnia Saturday.
Oboabona suffered a foot injury during Nigeria opening Group F match against Iran and was thereafter forced out in the first half.
A scan later showed he did not suffer a fracture in the foot.
Keshi described the Turkey-based ace as a very important player of the team and will likely be replaced again by skipper Joseph Yobo for Saturday’s showdown against Bosnia-Herzegovina in Cuiba.
The former Sunshine skipper is the only injury concern for the Super Eagles ahead of the decisive weekend game.
