Barcelona are lining up a shock move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma as they look for long-term additions, according to reports. The 23-year-old is currently on loan with Everton for the 2018-19 season after being deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge for the second successive season.
He spent last term with Stoke as they suffered relegation from the Premier League and his future in west London looks bleak.

However, it appears he could be handed the chance to rebuild his career in Spain with Barcelona reportedly monitoring his situation.
The Catalan giants are looking for a long-term successor to Gerard Pique and Ernesto Valverde is understood to be considering Zouma, who was called up to the France squad this week.
Chelsea parted with around £12million to sign Zouma from Saint-Etienne in January 2014 and he has been restricted to just 71 appearances across all competitions.
