Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge says the club will not rush any decision on permanently signing James Rodriguez.
The Colombia international is currently in the final season of his two-year loan spell with the Bundesliga champions and reports have suggested he desires a move back to parent club Real Madrid.

Bayern do have an option to sign Rodriguez on a permanent deal but Rummenigge is adamant there is absolutely no need to rush any decision regarding the forward’s future.
“In our agreement we have an option that we can make use of until 15th June 2019. We are having November now so I don’t think it makes sense to speak about it now already,” he said.
“I am of the opinion that James played great football last season. He was one of our best players as far as I remember.”
