All Blacks Stun South Africa With Comeback Win

New Zealand left it late before securing a 32-30 victory over South Africa with a stunning comeback in the Rugby Championship. Back-row forward Ardie Savea went over in the 79th minute to cap a remarkable reversal of fortune by the All Blacks after they trailed by 12 points with just four minutes left on the clock in Pretoria.

It looked as though the points were heading to the Springboks and they would record their first back-to-back wins against the All Blacks as they opened up a 30-13 lead.

Jesse Kriel, Damian de Allende and Cheslin Kolbe all crossed the whitewash for the hosts, with Handre Pollard adding the extras and also landing three penalties.

However, it was still not enough as the world champions slowly hauled themselves back into the contest.
Aaron Smith, Rieko Ioane and Scott Barrett scored for New Zealand, while Beauden Barrett added a conversion and two penalties before Savea’s last-gasp touchdown was converted by Richie Mo’unga.
