Cardiff City are set to duke it out with three London clubs for the signing of Elvis Azah. The Republic of Ireland youth international has spent pre-season with the newly-promoted Bluebirds and he impressed in an Under-18 friendly against West Ham United, finding the back of the net twice.
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock, who has been in charge of the Welsh outfit since October 2016, has been happy with what he has seen from the 17-year-old and is eager to acquire his services on a long-term contract.
However, London trio Arsenal, Tottenham and the Hammers are said to be keeping tabs on the rising star and a move to the capital could prove difficult to turn down for the winger.
Azah, who previously had trials with Manchester United and Everton, spent time on trial at Celtic earlier and the Scottish champions are also believed to be monitoring the situation.
The winger, who was born in Ghana, recently received Irish citizenship, meaning he can sign for English clubs and he is expected to have a number of offers come his way over the next couple of weeks.
