Reports claim Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas will be targeted by both Milan clubs in next summer’s transfer window.
It was reported over the weekend that AC Milan were keen but now it has emerged that their city rivals Inter also have an interest in the talented schemer.
The 31-year-old, who moved to Stamford Bridge after three seasons with Barcelona in 2014, will fall out of contract at the end of the current campaign and reports suggest he will not be offered a new deal.
The former Arsenal midfielder is, therefore, free to talk to clubs in January and The Daily Express claims that the Milan outfits will battle it out for his signature.
Fabregas has been sidelined with a knee injury for the past few weeks and is yet to play a Premier League game under new boss Maurizio Sarri but, with Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic now on board, it is open to debate how much game time the 2010 World Cup winner will actually see over the course of the campaign.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley are also hovering around the first team and so a move away for Fabregas does seem the logical conclusion.
