London Broncos have snapped up Huddersfield prop forward Nathan Mason, who has penned a two-year deal with the club.
Mason spent much of this season on loan with Leigh Centurions, making 22 appearances in the process, and head coach Danny Ward believes he will be a valuable addition to the Broncos ranks.
Ward said: “Nathan came through the ranks at Huddersfield and burst into the first team at an early age. He’s a big human being and will hopefully bring something a bit different to the team.”
Mason is also delighted to have completed the move and is looking forward to working with Ward and his new team-mates.
“I am buzzing to be able to get back into Super League and the opportunity with London was one I couldn’t turn down,” he added. “I have spoken to a few lads who know Danny Ward and they had only good things to say about him and the club. I am looking forward now to next season and a new experience with London Broncos.”
Broncos Chairman David Hughes added: “Nathan is another exciting young talent with Super League experience and I am looking forward to seeing him in a Broncos shirt in 2019.”
