BVB Put Pulisic Move On Hold

Borussia Dortmund admit they could lose Christian Pulisic, but say he is going nowhere in the January transfer window. The USA international continues to be the talk of the town, with a number of top clubs, including Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all said to be keen on doing a deal.

Dortmund are flying high in the Bundesliga and have the player tied down to a deal that runs until 2020, but that is not stopping speculation he could be on the move.

Reports have suggested that Chelsea could launch a move in January as part of a £200million spending spree, but BVB officials have quickly ruled that out.

However they are well aware of the fact that interest is starting to reach fever pitch and they could have to cash in at some point in the near future.

Dortmund’s sporting director, Michael Zorc, has revealed: “We have known these rumours for many years. We plan at least until the end of the season with him.”

BVB will only listen to offers starting at £70million and Chelsea will be happy to pay it, reports say.
