Chelsea have been handed a boost after transfer target Alex Sandro admitted he would like to test himself in the Premier League. The Juventus left-back is considered one of the best players in his position in the world and he has enjoyed a number of successful years in Turin.
Sandro has made 87 Serie A appearances since he left Porto in 2015, winning consecutive Serie A titles during his time with the Old Lady.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the last 18 months, while Manchester United are also monitoring his situation. with Maurizio Sarri looking forward to boost his defense line with his new football philosophy, which has kept Chelsea unbeaten so far this season and having plans to maintain the same unbeaten run as they square up against spurs this weekend. Chelsea might have a better chance to lure the Brazilian international.
Sandro is currently on international duty with Brazil but he has told reporters that a move to England is on his agenda for the future. “I think, one day, who knows what will happen,” he said. “I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at [Juventus], the league I am playing in.”
