Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman has piled the praise on Franck Ribery after claiming he will not be good enough to replace him. Both players play on the wing and Coman still has the best years of his career to come.
However, Ribery is in the twilight years of his career but many have claimed Coman will be a natural replacement.
Coman sustained an ankle injury on matchday one but he returned last week against Werder Bremen.

Ribery replaced him during that match but Coman insists he can never match his or Arjen Robben’s achievements.
He told AZ: “Nobody can replace Franck Ribery. There’s only one Franck and nobody will ever be like him.
He’s a wonderful role model for me. It’s my aim to do as well as him, but in my own way. “Obviously it’s a dream of mine to become as important at Bayern as Ribery and [Arjen] Robben are. I want to fulfill the expectations the club have of me and I want to play an important role in the future.
Both of those players really are icons – they’ve performed for the last ten years and had great success. I want to stay at Bayern for a long time and have a similar career to theirs.”
