Manchester City have been boosted by reports star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne could be set to return to action ahead of schedule. The Belgium international has had a nightmare on the injury front this season which has restricted him to just two starts and three substitute appearances in all competitions.
The 27-year-old is currently battling back from his second serious issue, a knee injury, but there is good news as it is claimed he could be back ahead of schedule.
The middle of December was initially given as the earliest return date, but now it has been claimed that the Premier League meeting with Watford on December 4 has been pencilled in for his return.
That would also mean De Bruyne would be available for the big showdown with his former club Chelsea four days later.
City have been coping well in his absence as they continue to dominate this season and they are unlikely to rush him back if he is not 100 percent over his injury problems.
