Matt Doherty has recovered from a knock picked up on international break and is available for Wolves’ clash against Huddersfield. Doherty has been an ever-present for Wolves in the Premier League this season but there were doubts over his fitness after he withdrew from the Republic of Ireland squad during the recent international break.
However, Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed the 26-year-old defender has recovered from a facial injury and is available to play in Sunday’s home clash against the Terriers.
The Portuguese tactician also revealed left-back Jonny Castro does not require surgery for the knee injury he picked up playing for Spain although the defender is set to miss the next six weeks.
Having gone four games without a win, Nuno could decide to rotate his squad and hand starts to the likes of Adama Traore, Diogo Jota and Leander Dendoncker.
