Borussia Dortmund are keen to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Sebastien Haller, according to reports in the Italian media. The 24-year-old is currently in his second season at Commerzbank-Arena and has enjoyed an excellent start to the campaign, bagging three goals in as many Bundesliga matches.
The former France Under-21 star is already a third of the way to last season’s tally, with his nine in 2017-18 scored from 31 appearances for Die Adler.
Haller was on target as his side lost 3-1 to BVB on September 14 and it has been suggested that his performance that evening caught the eye of Dortmund officials.
He is under contract with Frankfurt until the summer of 2021 but that has not prevented him being linked with a switch away.
Whether or not Lucien Favre will look to move in January only time will tell but Italian outlet Calciomercato have stated that Dortmund are keen to bolster their front line and see Haller as the answer.
