Sean Dyche will use his full Burnley squad for Thursday night’s Europa League clash with Istanbul Basaksehir at Turf Moor. The Clarets go into the game with the tie finally poised after a goalless first encounter in Turkey but with the Premier League back in full swing he will once again make use of his squad.
Dyche made four changes to the side that beat Aberdeen to the one which drew with Southampton in the Premier League season’s opener and he is likely to make similar changes for Thursday ahead of the first home league game of the season against Watford on Sunday.
Dyche told the Burnley Express: “It’s squad depth – at the minute we’re down to a group which is more or less our minimum.
“There are still players getting back to full fitness, so that will obviously add to our depth.
“But at the minute we are working with a group which is a bit skinny.
“If we had everyone fully fit, I would probably make more changes, but we haven’t. “Therefore we have to use the players we’ve got wisely and still be competitive, as we have been.”
