Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Nantes frontman Emiliano Sala as the hunt for a new striker continues. The Eagles search for a new striker to ease their problems in front of goal has been well documented over the last couple of months, and now Sala has emerged as a potential target.
The 28-year-old Argentinian started his career with Bordeaux and spent time on loan with the likes of Orleans, Niort and Caen before joining Nantes in summer 2015 for one million euros.
Sala has since scored an impressive 41 goals in 113 league appearances for Les Canaris and his form has subsequently resulted in interest from outside Ligue 1.
Several Premier League clubs have been linked, but the reports claim it is Roy Hodgson and Palace that have shown most interest with a view to a January swoop.
The link follows on from the rumours suggesting that a January loan bid for Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa is also on the cards.
