Eagles Told To Continue Their Efforts

The Eagles boss ( Crystal Palace ) boss Roy Hodgson has said the side must not change their approach for the forthcoming run of matches. Hodgson was delighted with the efforts his side put in as they picked up a draw at Manchester United last weekend, but he does not want that level of effort to drop with so-called easier fixtures to come.

The Eagles take on Burnley, Brighton and West Ham over the next 10 days and Hodgson wants the same mindset from his players. “Those four games we will play the way you have seen against Manchester United,” he said. “We did it against Tottenham and did it against Arsenal and against Chelsea.

“Right from the start, we were trying to get the ball and attack and cause them problems, and when we didn’t have the ball, we were working hard to try and get it back and defend properly. “That’s what we have to do against all the teams in this league.”
