The returning Dan Evans will be in action first for Great Britain in their Davis Cup World Group play-off against Uzbekistan on Friday.
The 28-year-old was banned for 12 months after he failed a drugs test at an ATP event in April 2017 but is now back in the GB Davis Cup squad and will kick things off in Glasgow against Denis Istomin in Friday’s opening singles rubber.
Afterwards, Cameron Norrie will take on Jurabek Karimov in the second singles match-up before Dom Inglot and Jamie Murray face Sanjar Fayziev and Istomin in the doubles on Saturday.
The reverse singles on Sunday will see Norrie play Istomin while Evans goes up against Karimov as GB look to bounce back from their World Group first round defeat to Spain in February.
The World Group Play-offs offer countries who were knocked out in the World Group first round the chance to guarantee seeding for next year’s revamped tournament.
