Reports claim Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are now in pole position to sign Lyon forward Nabil Fekir in January.
Having scored 18 Ligue 1 goals last season, it always seemed as though Fekir would be the subject of interest from some of Europe’s top clubs and Liverpool pursued the France international throughout the summer.
The Reds pulled the plug on a deal at the last minute due to the player’s injury history but it is thought that the Merseysiders might go back in with another offer in the winter window.

Whether or not that is the case only time will tell, but a report in Kicker suggests that the Bavarians will look to land the man who has played all of his professional football with Les Gones.
The German giants have endured a tough start to the new season and will try to do something about it in mid-season as they sit four points behind table-topping Borussia Dortmund.
