Arsenal are reported to have sounded out Borussia Dortmund star Julian Weigl as a potential replacement for Aaron Ramsey. Ramsey is heading for the exit door after failing to agree a new deal with the Gunners, and now the hunt is on for his replacement, with a number of top players linked.

Reports now claim that Weigl, who is well known by Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, is a target and the Gunners are currently pursuing a deal.
Mislintat was behind the move that took the tough tackling midfielder to Dortmund, and if he gets his way, a reunion could be on the cards at the Emirates Stadium.
However he will not come cheap with reports claiming that BVB would be holding out for a fee in the region of £65million, despite the fact he has not been in the greatest form this season.
Arsenal would also face strong competition as it has been claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are also showing an interest in him.
