Hadergjonaj Excited For Premier League Challenges

Huddersfield’s Florent Hadergjonaj insists his side are more than ready for their second campaign in the Premier League. The Terriers defied the odds last year when they avoided relegation despite having the smallest budget in the top flight.

Huddersfield started the new campaign at home to Chelsea and they were brought back down to earth following a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea.

Despite the early setback, Hadergjonaj is adamant his team have enough quality in their ranks to stay in the top flight once again.

He told the Huddersfield Daily Examiner: “We know that it will be hard, it’s even harder in the second year, but I can’t see why we can’t do what we did last year and survive again.

“The teams who have come up look strong and have bought a lot of players, but we are very confident that we can stay up again.

“Chelsea are a big team, with a new manager and they play good football. We knew that it was going to be hard. We can’t get too frustrated about it, we just need to take the positives and move on.”
