West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will be without summer signing Ryan Fredericks, who is out until next year after sustaining a fibula injury in the draw against Huddersfield, while Winston Reid, Manuel Lanzini, Carlos Sanchez and Andriy Yarmolenko all remain on the long-term absentees list.
Captain Mark Noble returns from suspension but that is counterbalanced by the absence of Robert Snodgrass who, having picked up his fifth caution of the season at Huddersfield, is now suspended himself.
