Watford striker Adalberto Penaranda is hoping to make his debut soon as he closes in on securing a work permit. The Venezuelan joined Watford in February 2016 on a four-year deal but is yet to make an appearance for the Premier League side.
After failing to earn a work permit, Watford agreed to send Penaranda out on-loan to Udinese for the first half of 2016-17, while he spent the second half of that season with Malaga.
He returned to Malaga last term and the Hornets are now hoping that he can finally get clearance to feature in England.
Reports in Venezuela suggest that his paperwork has been granted and Watford should be able to call on the highly-rated forward in the next few months.
