Mats Hummels is reportedly plotting a January exit from Bayern Munich because he is frustrated by the club’s current rotation policy. The 29-year-old Germany international defender has made 90 appearances for the reigning Bundesliga champions since returning to Allianz-Arena from rivals Borussia Dortmund in summer 2016.
Bayern have played six league games so far this term, but Hummels has only featured in three of those as coach Niko Kovac likes to rotate his squad in an effort to keep the players fresh.

Reports claim the player would prefer to be given a sustained run in the side and is subsequently assessing his future with the Bavarians.
If Hummels does request a move it will almost certainly alert Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho who is desperate to bolster his central defensive options following a poor start to the Premier League campaign.
