Liverpool are reported to be weighing up a move for Benfica striker Luka Jovic, who is impressing while on loan in Germany. The 20-year-old struggled for regular first-team football with Benfica and was shipped out on loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, in the hope it would kick-start his career, and that has proven to be the case.

Jovic has fired home 17 goals for the Bundesliga side, form that has caught the attention of the Reds, who are said to be lining up a move, while Barcelona are also reported to be keeping a close on his situation.
The youngster still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract with Benfica, which puts the Portuguese side in a strong position and means they will be able to hold out for a big fee, should they decide to cash in.
The Serbian star is contracted to stay with Eintracht until the end of the season so any move from the Reds will have to wait until then, and the same applies to Barca.
