Juventus have reportedly turned down a 60million euro offer from Real Madrid for midfielder Miralem Pjanic. Los Blancos are expected to lose Luka Modric to Inter Milan before the European transfer deadline at the end of the month and it appears Pjanic is their preferred replacement.
But, the Spanish giants will have to come up with a better offer if they are to bring in the Bosnia international.
Reports claim that an initial bid of 60million euros has been rejected with the Bianconeri holding out for a fee closer to 100million euros.
Juventus are keen to keep hold of the highly-rated midfielder and it’s understood that contract talks are in the offing.
The Old Lady, who are prepared to pay Pjanic an extra 2million euros per season, may look to bring those talks forward to fend off Real.
