According to reports in England, Crystal Palace are planning to make a bid for ADO Den Haag defender Wilfried Kanon in January. The Ivory Coast international has previously been linked with a move to England, with Everton unable to sign him in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees went on to sign Yerry Mina instead but Kanon’s agent appears to be offering his client out to more English clubs.
Kanon has made 89 appearances in the Dutch top-flight and Palace are willing to match his valuation in January.
The 25-year-old is wanted by several other clubs in Europe, with scouts set to watch him over the next few months.
Palace chiefs are hoping fellow countryman Wilfried Zaha could tempt him to the club, with the duo both named in the latest Elephants squad for their African Cup of Nations qualifiers with Central African Republic over the international break.
