Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas are said to be closing in on a loan move for Liverpool keeper Loris Karius. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly happy to see either Karius or Simon Mignolet move out on loan having snapped up Alisson for a then world-record-fee for a keeper from Roma.
Klopp is to allow Karius to spend a season abroad to clear his head and get his career back on track after having his confidence knocked following his performance in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid where he was responsible for two of Madrid’s three goals.
Reports in Turkey say the move could even turn into a permanent one but, given the devaluation of the Turkish Lira recently, that is unlikely to happen and a loan deal looks a far greater possibility.
