Brighton goalkeeper Mathew Ryan insists his side need to get back to winning ways and use the Amex as a fortress. Chris Hughton’s men have picked up just four points from their first four Premier League games this season.
Defeats to Watford, Liverpool and Southampton meant Brighton headed into the international break in 14th.
The Seagulls lost just four of their 19 home league games last season and that form helped them avoid the drop under Hughton.
Ryan admits his team need to buck up their ideas and he believes some improved home form could help them out.
He told the Brighton and Hove Independent: “It’s been a mixed bag. There’s been the ups and downs of a season.
“We pride ourselves on our home form and try to make the Amex a fortress. We wanted three points against Fulham and we fell short of that.
“In life and in a football season, it’s not always rosy and in difficult times like during that match and what we faced, it was good we got something in the end.”
