Real Madrid are reportedly considering making a move for Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso. The Spaniard joined the Blues in the summer of 2016 following the arrival of Antonio
Conte after catching his eye playing for Fiorentina in Italy.
Alonso’s move to Stamford Bridge completed his journey back to the top level of English football after signing for Bolton when released by Real Madrid in 2010.
He then linked up with the Viola and has eventually established himself as a key figure in West London.
However, reports in Spain claim his time in the Premier League could be coming to an end with Los Blancos back in the picture.
The 27-year-old is being asked to play in a deeper role by new boss Maurizio Sarri this term and it’s understood that the Spain international is not happy about the change.
Real have until the end of August to try and wrap up a deal but Chelsea, who can’t sign new players until January, are unlikely to let him depart.
